Miami Comedy

Welcome to the Miami Comedy Guide. Miami is a center of activity for tourists. Thousands and thousands flock to South Florida to escape the winter ravages that the rest of the world undergoes. This is both from North and South America. While the U.S. is a melting pot, South Florida is a hodge podge, with almost every ethnicity and nationality represented to one degree or another.

One of the great venues of the area and fun places to go for the whole family is on Watson Island across from the The Port of Miami. Nestled between Miami and South Beach is Parrot Jungle with its collection of exotic animals.

Several comedy groups that have taken up the challenge of trying to meet the varying comedy needs the area requires. Some top-notch humor has been the result that crosses ethnic and national boundries.

Likewise, the broader area is blessed with three,( that's right, 3!), Improv Comedy Clubs. The national chain has one in Kendall (Homefield), one in Hollywood and one in Palm Beach.

Of course there are also alternatives at casinos, the hotels and resorts of the area. And if you are willing to go offshore, the cruise lines all have comedic performances aboard their luxurious vessels.

Wherever you are in the metropolitan area, you will find comedic options for your night out on the town. Likewise, most of the shows are early enough for you to catch a show before hitting the clubs of South Beach. Check the Miami Herald for listings.
